WELCOME

Ask me why I do what I do, and I’ll answer you with why not? My circumstances may have set the stage, but they don’t define my story, impact or influence in the world.

“When one is given a vision, they either use-it-or-lose it!
I chose to define mine and have influence in the world.”

Hi!

My name is Rita, a woman who is currently battling advanced stage 4 metastatic breast cancer for the second time after nearly 13 years of remission. Metastatic breast cancer spreads beyond the breast to areas like lymph nodes and possibly the brain.

Despite these challenges, I believe in seizing opportunities. Thus, Wa~La Apparel was born from my determination to make an impact despite facing financial, emotional, and health setbacks during my battles with breast cancer.
